MLS Player Confirms Move To Swansea City

Major League Soccer side DC United’s striker Paul Arriola looks all set to have confirmed his move to England Championship side Swansea City. The report is emerging from inside the United States and from respected TUDN journalist Michele Giannone claiming that the player has already seat his heart on a move to the Swans and even recently said that he is ready to complete the move.

According to the report, Arriola is now only waiting for his current club DC United to conclude negotiations and strike a deal with the English club after having held personal talks with Swansea head coach. According to the report compiled by Michele Giannone, the player will be looking to join Swansea on a six-month short-term loan de that will see him remain at the side till the end of the season. The Welsh club will also be accorded the opportunity to make the deal a permanent one should they wish to layer in the future.

The deal is similar to the one that saw Jordan Morris swap the United States for England earlier in the window. Morris transferred from MLS Club Seattle Sounders to Swansea and has been given the all-clear to make his debut when his new club go into action in the Championship this weekend.

Arriola initially began his career at Los Angeles Galaxy and played for the club’s academy side before moving to Mexico. He started his professional journey in Mexico where he played in the Mexican league for both Tijuana and Dorados.

He left Mexico in favor of a move to DC United in a deal that was worth €2 9 million back in 2017.in the 72 games he played for DC, he scored a total of 14 goals and registered as many as 13 assists. Should he join Swansea, he will be adding more firepower to the Welsh side.
